Tributes

  1. I will remember her as a very friendly and hospitable person. I loved sitting and chatting to her, so open and easy to get on with. Such a relaxed and happy person, even though she had many worries, she never showed it, always having time for others.

May she rest in peace. So glad I got to speak to her but sorry I did not get to see her.
    Fondest memories.

  2. Just need wings to fly to where you are. Missing you so much. They say time heals. Does it?

  3. It's exactly 4 weeks today since Amah left us. Tha pain has not subsided. I miss her as much today as I did 4 weeks ago. I want to hear her voice and see her face and listen to her nonsensical talk. When will that happen? When will I see her smile? I want to hear her voice over the phone asking me if I have eaten and how I am. When will all this happen? I miss you Amah. Why did you go?

  4. I loved your mother, my Kunju Machal who always had that smile – that grin, regardless of whatever that had been said or done. My siblings & I have always acknowledged that our Kunju Machal made us feel special & welcome at her home & at your homes too. I am truly sorry that I was not able to see her before she passed on.

Take heart that she lived her life with dignity and that she was loved by everyone. I will always cherish my memories of your mum, the great food that she served generously and the warmth of her smile.

Hey NTV, just finished reading the tribute to your grandma and I
must say a big KUDOS, for thinking and executing a wonderful tribute to someone so special and important in your lives. Rest assured, although she is not here to read it, she would have surely heard and felt all your thoughts and words as u were preparing this eulogy. A job WELL DONE! Pls convey my wishes to the other grandchildren. U have all outweighed yourselves and must be PROUD. Im sure your grandma feels the same way.....

  7. Will be thinking of you all as you celebrate Mami's life on the 31st day memorial. She was a wonderful, loving person and we made it a point to meet her (and taste her cooking) every time we visited Malaysia. There will be a void when we come there next year.
